For those who aren't making progress and are always looking for answers on how to improve their physique. When your training program is on point, no matter if it's strength training, a focus on hypertrophy, endurance training, or a combination of all 3... you should feel on edge most days. Especially as a natural. The most progress I made in endurance improvements and in strength is when I felt like I didn't want to workout that day because of real fatigue but decided to anyways.

Which is why it is so important to follow a well designed but intense program, if I didn't have a program to follow, I wouldn't have worked out and I would have just taken an off day because of the fatigue. You must push through these stages of fatigue for weeks at a time before slightly deloading to see progress as a natural, you should feel on edge and tired most of the time.

I agree, it is, but the same principles outlined above apply. Also, why would you not lift weights if you have the opportunity to?

I mean if you're a novice ICF 5X5 is good, but I'd add in some cardio on your off days. Maybe some rowing on a concept 2, swimming, air bike, or cycling. One endurance session, one VO2 max session, and one speed session. If you're not really skinny and are just bulking while running a 5x5 program then you will get fat. If you're progressing in strength weekly, keep running 5x5 but add in the cardio, it'll help keep your work capacity high and when you transition into a higher intensity 5-6 day a week lifting program, you'll be able to do more volume.

Will do once the corona finishes, i am actually gymcelling for a long time, just didn't do it properly and never progressed enough, i'm still progressing weakly, so i'll probably do few more months of it and go to some more interesting program. I'll add running as i am in really shit shape and i actually gasp for breath when doing my hypertrophy exercises ty
