Eat in calorie surplus, eat high protein, go to failiure + slow controlled reps in the gym focused on compound movements, sleep alot, recovery=super important, eat while recovering, you need at least 2 days rest before hitting the same muscle group again.
Personally i eat the same thing everyday, a massive plate of chicken and rice and then either chicken and pasta or eggs with baked beans etc any thing with high protein. Push pull leg split to give yourself time to recover.
