had a job interview today and did badly on one question

I was asked a simple question, but I kept rambling. I kept extending my sentences with “umm,” “ahh,” “and,” “so,” etc. I should have known when to stop. I kept going and ended up giving an incoherent answer.

The quality of my answers should have been better too. If I’m given a vague question like “How would you assess your customer support abilities?”, I should give a direct, clear answer. You need to stand out from other applicants.

Anyway, the office building looked meh, and the work environment in general seemed pretty depressing.

I’m supposed to hear back on Wednesday.

I didn't have much time to prep for this interview. I was asked to come in the same day.

My last job interview I was a stuttering idiot because I’m so beaten down and defeated by life atp I simply couldn’t bring myself to bullshit confidence and aura anymore like I used to

Thankfully almost every job I apply for just wants a warm body to fill a spot regardless of what I blabbered that day so I got in still

You’d be surprised how often a hiring decision is predetermined, just like looks and life in general
