Hair can be used to hide failos by drawing attention away from them and onto your hair; this is why when people get a buzzcut their whole face and all their failos are exposed.

Using me as an example, my eye area is my most obvious failo. In my opinion, when my hair is on my forehead (fringe) it draws attention away from my eyes and makes them look slightly better compared to when my hair is up and off of my forehead which puts more focus on my face:

agree with the point - pic is not the doesn't illustrate it well though. a tiny fringe is not going to do anything - you need longer sides and messy top with texture

Yeah I have, had pretty good success at Uni when I was living in a city.

You look leaner here and the longer hair definitely suits you better. You’re at the minimum an entire PSL point higher compared to the 2nd pic in the OP imo.
