Hair methods?

I’ve been neglecting hair and just hoping it works out and I can never tell if my hair looks fine.
What are your routines for washing hair? Like do you use shampoo, and if so do u use it every time you shower, or if you don’t do you still use shampoo sometimes? I shower every other day with no shampoo and conditioner but I just want to know what you guys do to see if I can improve this.
