I've recently noticed that I am getting more IOIs with my longer, moderately curly hair compared to back when I had straight hair.
I am also getting approached more, generally, and people seem to perceive me as being friendlier

I also don't think I've ever seen an incel with curly hair, and I can't imagine an emo or "loner" with a curlier hair type, it looks way too "outgoing" in a way and reduces the introvert look
This made me wonder if having curly hair makes you look more approachable or extroverted

For reference, my hair used to be 1-2a, now it's closest to 3a

I don't perm it or anything, it just becomes curly when it grows out and the texture fluctuates sometimes.

i'm mixed southern european/ hispanic, when I had straight hair people used to tell me I looked French or just white (passing) but now a lot of people assume i'm italian, brazilian, or some other racially ambiguous looking country jfl

yep I also used to dress in a way more alternative style, was paler, had ear and eyebrow piercing but now I usually just go with a black tee and I got tan from surfing

yes, i feel like in general wavier / curly hair is more desirable now and can look good but it doesnt work with alternative looks. like whenever i see someone with some extravagant ass outfit on but broccoli hair it makes me cringe

Nah it’s not the hair type really but mostly how healthy the hair tends to be. Dirty frizzy unwashed hair will always look incelish

its also rarer than other hair types, so all it does is make u stand out in the crowd.

A classic example is richard ramirez, his curly fluffy hair definitley give him this more intimidating look

if he had pin straight hair, i dont think he would have looked as cool as he did

Yeah I have similar wavy and curls at the ends being medium length and most girls like it. I think its most girls preference compared to straight hair and also makes ur hair look thicker as opposed to straight hair which is a plus.
