I have been nearly 7 month on finasteride and switched to dut like 1 month and half ago did not drop the finasteride still taking it so the dutasteride builds up in concentration and do not spike my dht started dut at 2.5mg everyday its real dutasteride from pharmacy im shitting myself....

A side effect of accutane is that it can cause temporary hairloss due to stress on the body and your body removing oil from everywhere including your scalp.

Its not increasing dht. So your hair will grow back in 3-6 months back to what it orginally was.

It isn’t that obvious and its 99% diffuse thinning. Your hair will go back to normal just stick on the same dosage you are currently on with the accutane and dutasteride otherwise more side effects will occur.

If you’ve only started just noticing thair thinning/loss its most likely 1 of the 2 causing a shedding cycle and will stop soon.

Same thing happens if you lose weight too quick, i went on reta lost a ton of weight asap and noticed i was losing hair. Hopped off it and ate normal-ish and noticed 1-2 months later my hair was back to normal.
