He wants to lower my whole hairline, instead of just temples, saying it will look unnatural with just temples done. The middle of my hairline isn't receding

He drew the area, but said I could raise it up in the middle if I wanted to, to avoid lowering the hairline as much

I don't want a botched hairline, which is my concern. As for shaving, he said I might be able to shave into the hairline a bit and leave the rest long to cover it, but would be better to shave it all

Quoted £4200

Wasn't expecting that tbh
It's just naturally high
I'll likely to do if I can avoid shaving it all, but I'll consult others first

Get on tretinoin if you're not already and consider some laser treatment

In the past I thought about hairline lowering, but it's not something I'd considered recently

But the surgeon said I have miniaturisation on the temples (actually said my right side was worse than my left, which I think it's the opposite), and said just doing temples would look unnatural. Idk about that, loads of people get it done

But I'll see what other clinics say

hairline looks good. Doctor gonna make it unnatural thats for sure

@SoundnVision thoughts?

Nigga how old are you? do you even have AGA?

Your hairline looks absolutely fine and you look too young to be getting a hair transplant.
If your hairline worsens you will have a big ass gap between your transplanted hairline and your natural one.

Just hop on fin and minox and consider a HT after 30-35 yo

Dude you should see my forehead lol.
I think you’re either brainwashed or retarded

Stick to those antidht and consider adding minox if you are losing hair.

Tbh, I don’t see androgenetic alopecia or hairloss. Hairline looks solid and hair in general too. Getting a hair transplant of 1000 grafts to get a 1cm lowered hairline in your situation seems really retarded and might impair future HT when really needed. But you do you eh

I agree kind of
I was looking into hairline lowering years ago but stopped
My temples are a bit weak, but the surgeon insists on touching the whole hairline

I think the surgeon is trying to rip off 4k from you. No normal surgeon, even in turkey, will accept to do such a shitty HT at 22.

You need a reality check fr my man, even if you are losing hair stick to the meds and consider it in 10 years. You haven’t even mentioned any AGA so you could be on some complete bullshit too

Wdym haven't mentioned AGA? I told you my temples are weak, they are miniaturised and sparse

The surgeon said this too, although he said the side I consider to be fine is worse than the side I consulted for

I could try minox, but a transplant is a one and done, and I have another sparse area that isn't AGA that I want a transplant for anyway, and could get temples in same procedure

Extreme case for reference but this is what happens when you do a HT too early / don’t stay on meds. You could risk you hairline receding (even while being on fin) and the having transplanted hairline detached from your natural receding one.

Again, hair looks normal to me so i would stock to the meds since it way too early to consider a HT. I would do one too if it wouldn’t be a stupid decision. DYOR tho

Yeah but I'm not stupid enough to get a transplant without being on meds

I'll up my dut dosage if I have to

Worst case, I recede a little, and I'll get another transplant to fill in the gap. Cos I'd have to get a transplant if I were to recede anyway, even without a transplant now

Would look good. Surgeon has a good eye.

Would look good. Surgeon has a good eye.
My main concerns are:
- too sharp hairline corners. Would prefer a softer curvature. Can probably ask for that
- low density at the front below where my density is currently good
- having to shave the head, because I look much better with longer hair, and I don't want people to know about the transplant

I'm gonna consult other clinics but will probably be similar
Why not just spend that on facial surgeries. Tbh that’s what I’d rather. And maybe just get a toupee or some shit

Because hair is life
I used to want facial surgeries but now I don't really care. But having a full head of hair is important

First isn’t exactly hard to avoid. Second surely saves itself over time; it will take a while though. And the shave is brutal indeed.

You have to simply weigh it up on your own scale. We will have varying perceived weights to each pro and con.

I'm concerned the density will look lower than my current hairline at the front if it's lowered, after the final result. I don't have any recession in the middle of my hairline, so touching that seems risky. The last thing I want to end up with is a fake or thin hairline

Wouldn't go to the uk for that money you could go to BHR clinic.

Once the hair is there, it usually begins to look super low density but over time as it roots properly it usually tends to blend in.
