My forehead is 5 fingers tall + shit temples and it ruins my harmony, i dont want to get hairline lowering surgery, i want to lower it by hair transplant.

I'm not gonna go into detail about my hairline, just that i always had a big neurocranium, it was always big, not balding yet

Anyone have experience with this surgery? I'm gonna get it in my country , not flying to turkey or anything, theyre professional .

I heard someone says you shouldnt get it until later to make sure u arent balding but i think its a stupid idea

it'll be hard to find a surgeon willing to do it but go for it. you gotta monitor the non-transplanted hairs tho and hop on fin when you see miniaturization.

I used minox on hairline since november 2021, i see small hairs but i doubt it will look good or even work to lower it , if i raise my eyebrows, above the forehead wrinkles i have like 1 pinky finger space

Any other solution than fin? Im willing to risk ed etc so i dont lose my hair but im wondering if there is another safe option

My dad is 51 and his temples are slightly receeded , not really visible at first sight, i have thick hair (dark, maybe im ethnic idk , my skin is white af)

But my grandpa was bald, especially from moms side , idk about my fathers side

fin is a safe option tbh

the chance that you'll recede at least somewhat is like 90%+ so you're gonna have to look at fin at some point if you want to get a ht now. if you don't get one and recede then it's over anyway.

Well depends when i will receed, when im 40 or early 20s? I wont give it much of a thought when i will be super old if i will still be alive, but rn in my youth i will definetely max out

then dont do it, sorry it would be giga retarded especially if you feel uncomfortable about fin

i think hair transplant lowering wont do much difference if you have really big forehead , your best option is forehead reduction surgery
but again at 18 you probably wont find a surgeon

well if i do go bald, it will most likely start when im older, what effects does fin have? I heard only ed, is it curable (ed)? , i straight up bought minox for stubble and eyebrows without giving a fuck after it has been fear mongered for its side effects (which i havent experienced and i'm 4 months in) so i might do the same for finasteride and go yolo, i would rather take a happy life with hair and love the way i look and have no sex than go bald and have sex (assuming i will have since my head shape isnt bad or im not ugly, i just dont have the bonemass to makeup for a bald head)

nice to see you again chad, i improved myself (looks wise) but not diet wise and stress, i dont need sex since life fucks me every day. I've seen people shit on the ray peat diet

My father has really good hair genes, but he's 51 so it makes sense he has recession, i'm worried about my grandpas about balding tho

just get the HT and don't stress over it too much. if you do end up seeing recession (behind the transplant) then hop on fin.

but the worst thing you could do is to just decide to do nothing. if you get a HT and still end up balding for whatever reason then the end result is the same as if you never did anything, so it would be dumb not to try.

You need to establish your likelihood of balding because there’s always a risk you bald after the surgery (which might look a bit odd) and if you’ve gotten a HT early, you might not have enough hair donors left in the future. Essentially, make sure if you ever do bald, that you wage war on it one nanosecond later so you won’t require another HT or at least one requiring many grafts.

Watch this video for a more extensive look, although I disagree with the doc, he brings up some reasonable concerns, I think you could get it so long you’re cautious, aware of the risks and have a plan in place if you were to ever bald.

No ~20yo wants to wait until they’re 45, old, wrinkled and fat before finally getting the HT.

Just the forum being weird, search up “Why hairline lowering is not for men by dr gary linkov”

He brings up some valid concerns but I ultimately disagree with his conclusion, his being that you need to wait until a rather old age where your hair-loss has either stabilized or it’s obvious you’re not prone to balding before considering operating.

I think so long you’re aware of the risks involved, are cautious and have a plan in place for if you do bald, you’ll be fine. The benefit of getting your hairline lowered is mostly in your youth anyway where a good hairline is the status quo.
