im already taking 5% topical minoxidil for 2 months- then wasnt concistent at all for 2 months - I have now been consistent for 2 months and I have seen a ton of growth.

Just recently started pairing it with tretinoin 0.025% to increase blood flow even more, and allow more of the minox to be absorbed.

I’m taking tret 2x a week on my hairline, and wondering if I should take it more often.

also getting finasteride as soon as possible, and wondering if all of these paired is as good as they say

How was your experience with fin + min? I would say that I respond well to minoxidil, also forgot to mention that I microneedle 2x a week.

Fin pretty much stopped my hairloss or atleast slowed it down by 80-90%, ive been stable on it for 2 years at this point, 2 weeks ago i started dutasteride 3x a week on top of it since i tolerated fin so well and my temples might be happy to fully recover on some extra dht supression. I’m only thinned out in the corners not slick bald or recessed so that’s the most realistic phase to recover from. I’m only 4 months on oral minoxidil but my non thinned hair got darker and thicker, also got like crazy brows and lashes lmao. With microneedling be careful if you do 1mm twice a week thats doing more harm than good, once a week is better

Alrr thanks for the tip on microneedling.
Will see how i respond to fin as i have some recession on the corners. I can already see small hairs growing on the recessed areas from the minox, so hopefully the fin Will stop the balding and in my case it MIGHT also reverse the recession.

Yea at 18 it’s really likely, just be consistent and don’t be scared about sides, i’ve got 0 and even if you get them its easily reversable by stopping or lowering the dose
