Hairloss at 16 legit ruined my life

i was already incredibly depressed and insecure because of bullying and other aesthetic problems linked to health issues caused from poor habits that my parents gifted me since i was a child, looking back i think i was already doomed to fail.

today i have a little brother and seeing how hes being treated by the parents makes me think im right thinking this way. lil bro is an ipad kid, goes to bed really late at night, eats like shit (doesnt even eat vegetables and doesnt drink WATER), doesnt brush his teeth, Indian level of Hygiene despite not being Indian, stays sit in front of the computer all day and cusses at his parents continuously, doesnt go outside. mf doesnt even have a normal posture and is a mouth breather.

tried hairloss treatments like finasteride among a long list of other things but had no luck, im losing hope. the richest men on earth are bald/balding and dont even care about finding a cure how is that possible.

anyways, finasteride and dutasteride will be effective in the vast majority of men. If you are one of the very few non-responders you can still cope with minoxidil and dermarolling and try some alternative anti-androgen or 5a-reducaste inhibitor.

Lifelong Fin+Min combination therapy is the closest we have to a "cure". In the future doctors will be able to transplant near-limitless amount of donor hair which is going to cosmetically fix hair loss forever, if one is willing to undergo a transplant.

next thing im gonna do is take a full blood test cause i suspect i might have other underlying health issues and if everything is fine i think i might try dut, but im kinda scared of it tbh. i will see what the doctor says. maybe something topical that isnt system will have less side effects and still work, i dont know. i've watched a couple of videos in which was shown that some people respond better to topical treatments, maybe there is still hope

Has it stopped and you want better regrowth or is it still ongoing? Finasteride itself usually does not get you back anything in terms of regrowth. You might not be a responder to minoxidil or you might not be applying it correctly if you have longer hair.

almost an entire year with no signs of blocking or slowing down the hairloss, not even by slightly increasing the daily dose of Fin, other natural treatments and supplements. after stopping the treatments ive seen some people saying that a small % of people see improvements after 1 year, but by that time i was already mentally destroyed.
i think the biggest problem was the unusually fast hair thinning (like 30 - 60 minutes) after eating certain foods (particularly, if not only sugar) which caused a faster hair fall, which i think is caused by some other underlying health problem i cant figure out on my own.

i kept telling my mother that i needed to see a dermatologist or a doctor and she, being a no-vax - modern medicine is bad kind of person, kept gatekeeping any help, kept hiding fin's prescription from me and repeating to get off of it, which fucked me up mentally.

sorry for the paragraph, but yeah if you are worried about fin not having effect on you just consult a doctor or dermatologist. im going to see a real dermatologist by myself this year and see what i can do to fix my shit now that im nw2..
