1. Addressing DHT
The simple way to halt your hairloss would be by blocking dht. DHT is the male hormone that attacks your hair by shrinking hair follicles, shortening the growth cycle, and eventually increasing the shedding phase on overdrive. This causes the hairs to eventually go dormant over time, and stop producing hair.
The best option to stop dht, or severly decrease it would be a dht blocker like finasteride or dutasteride. Finasteride nukes dht by 70%, while dutasteride nukes 90% of dht. fin is taken in doses of 1mg daily, while dut is taken 0.5mg daily. These drugs have a high success rate, and are great at saving hairlines. One of these drugs will be your best defense of hairloss.
2. Minoxidil & Derma stamp
On the flip side Minoxidil and derma stamping play the role of offense in creating new hairs. In one study, 82% of men deemed topical minoxidil & micro-needling effective in regrowing hair.

These two steps will be your bread and butter. A simple routine to follow would be:

-1mg Finasteride every morning (7x/week)
- 5% strength minoxidil 2 times per day (6x/week)
- Derma Stamping the receeding areas on one day each week (1x/week)

This is my routine and it is very affordable even for working a part time job at 18 and great at promoting the regeneration of hair, while stopping hairloss.

Yeah I wouldn’t play around with any kind of hormone changing drugs under post-puberty. During puberty dht promotes devolpment

I started finasteride at 18 but I was a year done with puberty so no risks. If your bones and dick still have potential to grow then I would hold off on oral finasteride, if hair is still a big concern you can use topical finasteride in the meantime. I hope this helps
