Hanging effect on height?

Has anyone tried hanging/pull-ups, and similar shit and has it had an effect on your height?


Assuming under 21/ your plates haven’t fused.
 
Try hanging by your neck for optimal results.

Assuming under 21/ your plates haven’t fused.
It helps, but it won't make any significant changes. If you are 15-25, you can get a teeny tiny amount of size gains - about 0.5-1 inches of real height growth. But if you combine it with posture maxing, and daily stretching it can all add up to 2 inches.

Realistically all it does is decompress your spine, it may make you temporarily taller but your spine will compress again over time. It's good for posture either way though so you may appear taller, even if you haven't actually gained any permanent height.

How long have you been hanging for?
 
Well they are based on real methods that ancient people used in the past, just like wolff's law bone fracture method.
Don't go hanging heavy weights from your back, you could end up in a wheelchair if you're back isn't absolutely fortified with muscle first.
I'm at around 6'4, I was thinking about trying to max it out to 6'5 but it might just end up giving me a tall weirdo effect.

either way hanging/pull-ups are a good exercise for posture besides all the other benefits

I only did it for a week when I was like 19. These days I just do it every once in a while if my back feels fucked up. Like right now im about to do it because my back's fucked.
 
you can gain 1 cm by perfecting your posture and regular stretching regimen but you'll lose it if you stop the stretching

non existent, you cannot grow past your genetic potential unless you develop some sort of tumor on your brain which makes you pump out ungodly amounts of HGH.

just do pull ups with weights around your waist.

I grew bro.
2.5 inches in 4 months.
Started in October
I do daily stretching which seems to have made taller.
Now my spine/torso is huge and gives more to my height than my legs do.
I want to get 2.5 inches more which would take 2 months if done properly.
I also lagged and did irregularly,if I did wit discipline i would have gained 3.5 inches till now.

Also,i will make a thread about this just write a message on my profile now and I wil tag you later.

In short.
Search tadasana i do that very intensely and also stand against or in front of a wall and try to move my hands up i even hear my cervical and thoracic vertebrae make sound sometimes.
I can't explain everything now there's more to it.
But i grew man,i don't give a f if any calls it cope or sheeit here.

It wont do much for your height but it is just another thing that will improve your posture which is underrated here. Shit posture=looks subhuman when your walking around AND it actually worsens your facial development. I saw a clip of khamzat chimaev walking with the shittest most beta posture ever, i was thinking how tf is this guy the most hyped #1 prospect in the mma world he looks so beta with that posture

i used to hang but with my hands through to 10-14. it was like a challange to me, i dunno why i did this jfl.

i'm 5'9 with 23inch bideltoid. no family member has broad shoulders except me. i wonder if that affected my shoulder width.

also i have 6'0 wingspan which is long for my height.
