Well happiness is a biochemical state of your brain so it doesn't really correlate with your circumstances all that much, unless your circumstances are extreme, like being put in jail).

The thing is whenever I'm having a good day, or when I'm laughing and supposed to feel a good feeling it's like it's suppressed and it's annoying because it just feels like I'm temporarily numbing myself,
to feel no bad emotions because I'm constantly in a slightly bad mood.
I'm not feeling true happiness pretty much, just a numbing emotion when I do have good days. This includes my highest peaks in mood, it feels numb.

Quitting porn and social media (org as well) may help. I would stay away from all meds, they will probably do more harm than good in the long term

Yeah, you sound pretty depressed. That's what I was talking about. You can try jew pills, but I don't even believe they do much. You can also try gut microbiome theory, but realistically, you'd probably not be willing to go far enough with eating raw meat and what not.

Not necessarily accurate, and some thoughts:

1. I think there is a baseline of happiness if the most basic stuff is happening: food, shelter, and yes also regular sex with a person.
Yes, i think people who don't have that are on a lower baseline. Well i was definately happier since first girlfriend at age 23.. (now 40) perhaps i am also a special case of sex addict
(Altough some women seem to be superfine without sex for a long time)

2. There are big fluctuations of good or bad things happening to you, but you *always* come back to baseline
Eg if you get gifted 1 million dollars, studies found out you are straight up more happy for about 2 full years
Which on one hand is very long, on the other hand it's not forever

Most people have a set-ish baseline of happiness they will experience on average/most of the time.. No matter what happens in life ( unless really bad trauma).

This baseline is set early on already. By genes and upbringing.

if you want to stop being depressed, then maybe you shouldn't be a faggot or go on this site, the science backs it up too! gay people are more likely to suicide than straight, im surprised though, usually low IQ people are less likely to face depression, so in a way, you're quite lucky
 
True happiness cannot be achieved using any chemicals of any sort.


True happiness lies in a suitable lifestyle, where your body can produce happy chemicals for itself.


I think live and do things because you consider them to be fun, be proud of thee self, don't have any neuroticism, don't consume what the NPC consume, be less hypocritical, use minimalism, predeterminism, law of attraction, lifting, have a non-NPC identity, don't work be as NEET as possible, and JUST DO IT are good stuffs to consider.
 
Do varied things that give you dopamine. Also definitely some exercise If your Brain doesnt naturally guide you toward that path.
