talent's overrated and overestimated. dont get me wrong, there are some genetic freaks out there who'll be 100 strides ahead of the competition, but the odds of them existing are rare. the odds of them being passionate and hard working in the field they're talented in even more so

Extremly good take, as i've grown up i've come to the exact same realization. Thierry Henry (a football legend) when he was talking how messi was in training etc.. he answered somewhere along the lines of how he is sometimes mean and a crazy competitor, and that all the top guys he trained with are, that's required, it's in youtube somewhere
