I remember, after a few days of seclusion (I was crashing at a friend's place in his house, in a rural area), I was tired of hearing myself talk and struggle with all of that; so I spent my time walking (I was in a residence location, in the Countryside), playing some songs in my head while doing it (I like music, but I'm not a musical person by any means).

Then, I had something incredible happen to me, I kid you not, may have been one of the most intriguing experiences of my life.

As I was walking to some song I was humming along, I realized I was playing a tangential version of the song I was originally re-playing in my head;

then I felt the song just took a new turn by itself, as I was there, just listening to it unfold in my head.

It was a rock/metal song that I was playing originally; then it suddenly began to blow out completely by itself, into a full freaking orchestral Symphony, with full Classical instruments, including Female Classical voices, then blended into male Gregorian Chants (I never listen to Classical music though), repeating the same lyrics all over again.

the kind of likes I had absolutely never heard before, with notes so precise. and rhythms so complex, in spiraling patterns, that I was absolutely astounded, and brought to tears at the very end, by the beauty of the music I had just been witnessing, playing in my head, and the ability of my brain, to just create that, out of nowhere.



I have not been successful in re-creating the same experience again (yet), not that I've not been trying.


So, it was my personal anecdote, take from that what you will; just make sure to REALLY listen to yourself, in radical honesty, and without judgment, once in a while.

But there is next to NO CHANCE we will unlock, even only 1% of the World's potential, or at least in the West, if we keep living in such a noisy (and mentally noisy) daily environment. No freaking chance. Evverything is absolutely wasted.
