If your surgeon is capable he can perform a segmental lefort which can mimic the palatal expansion that MSE will give you, but it will not increase your bi-zygomatic width (which is one of the main aesthetic considerations and advantages to MSE and similar expansions), the caveat to that is its unpredictable and sometimes expands asymmetrically like this guy



If you want forward projection and a better midface then bimax + implants are still the gold standard.
