How much would Surgery for my underbite ascend me? I‘m considering Lefort 1 or Bimax because i Most likely have a recessed maxilla right? I don’t want them to mess up my ascension by only moving my Jaw back they should push my maxilla forward. Insurance would cover the cost so no worries there

You are a hard case because u have both underbite and maxillary downgrowth

The order they would probably take u through is this:
1- orthodontic decompensation, so the skeletal discrepancy is fully shown (this is necessary because without it, they wouldnt be able to do the surgery)
2- le fort i to move your maxilla upward
3- modified bsso for setback
In this way, u would achieve both maxillary elevation and mandible alignment
