I've been trying for the past two nights with no success.

I use a method which someone sent to me - wake up 4h 15mins into ur sleep and then imagine rolling out of bed but u dont actually roll out of bed.

I just end up falling asleep normally though.

How else has anyone lucid dreamed??

I want to see if you can learn new things in a lucid dream.

Not forge a false relationship with my mind which is shattered the moment I wake up - probably making me sadder.

Being able to learn in a lucid dream would mean I would use time twice as efficiently.

Everyone dreams - whether you remember your dream is another thing.

I used to think this till I began dream journaling

It takes time so you have to keep trying until it eventually works.

I did have a single dream not too long ago where I realized I was dreaming, but I couldn’t fully control it yet because I was too excited about it finally working.

This was after around three weeks of trying by developing the simple habit of looking at both of my hands every now and then which I eventually did in my dream allowing me to be lucid.

Great, I'll keep pushing.

I've been trying to develop the habit of just closing both nostrils with my hand and trying to breathe.

Good luck

The dream journal pushes you to remember the dream the first thing in the morning - adding importance to remembering the actual dream.

If you can't remember it, you will write that you can't but eventually, your mind will emphasise trying to remember your dreams.

I think this is astral projection - not lucid dreaming.

It's like the more advanced version which I want to move onto after I learn to lucid dream tbh.

Vividness
It doesnt even feel real
Isn't that because your mind literally understands that it isn't real?

And it needs to do that in order to be lucid.

Also, I've heard lying on your back produces a more vivid lucid dream in comparison to sleeping on your right hand side for example.

I’ll try it. I would love to try dreaming, it sounds like living two lives, one in the day and one while you sleep. I’ve sadly never experienced it myself.

Yes I would highly recommend it.

I used to dream a lot as a kid but then suddenly stopped.

I dream journaled consistently and within a week I was remembering dreams.

Good luck.

astral projection, yes, that’s the term i was looking for. it is a state of entering a lucid dream though because you’re fully aware your body’s asleep. not that common either way, it’s moreover a middle ground between dreaming and being awake. if you can somehow get into astral projection earlier on then you can lucid dream way easier, since you’re already in that state of being aware while your body’s asleep

Interesting, I'll do a bit of research on it too thanks.

Yes, because you realised you were in a dream you were lucid and therefore I think you controlled it.

How?

Is it just natural now or do you have a specific way you induce them?
They just happen. I don't ever induce them. Sometimes I'll just realize I'm dreaming. And then sometimes it will start out like sleep paralysis but then I kind of like step out of my body and can go through walls. Sometimes I can fly and sometimes I can just jump really far.

I got into lucid dreaming as a teenager and the more I started wanting to lucid dream the more it started to happen.

Never experienced it, I really want to though.
Your body is paralyzed, while your mind and senses are working normally. Imagine trying to scream or feel what is in front of you, but not physically being able to do so no matter how hard you try. I always get the feeling that something in front of me or in the room.

Do you see how ur argument is based off of vulgar language and slurs?

It implies your you lack logic and therefore are low IQ and subhuman - filled with anger that you wish to let out.

Your whole point doesn't make any logical sense and therefore you've resulted to using crude language.
