Not deployed anywhere but I was in the army for 3 years. I was part of a reserve youth force and was attached to an infantry regiment and a commander of a small platoon and reported to w commanding officer

The Marine recruiter basically told me I was a dream applicant

High PICAT without any studying, already physically fit, no prior convictions, or disqualifying medical factors

All branches now seem pretty eager to talk to me, but I'm very firm on joining the Navy as a corpsman.

Honestly, kind of fucked up, my girlfriend and I both got expelled from HS + early-college for fighting (well, expelled as in they gave us the option to disenroll ourselves or have an expulsion on record) ... Parents aren't willing to help me at all with college anymore, so :heartbreak:

Tough luck. only join the army if you really want to tho. Don't join it out of desperation or something. You'll become even more miserable. I'd suggest leaning a trade or something. Army is also good but again only do it if you really want to because it's not an easy job

No, I really want to, it was my plan once I graduated, I just want some sort of finances to ... when I get out, I can do jackshit in SEA or LATAM and not be a working-cuck.

My best friend was a doc. Killed in Afghanistan in 2009 after distinguishing himself in Iraq. I drove him to the recruiter and he begged me to come inside, saying the man was gonna make him do push ups if he couldn't get me to come on in so he could talk to me too. I refused because I didn't plan to go in the service. About 8 months later I ended up joining the Air Force.

I forgot about the oldcels on this forum, my dad was born around the same time as him, wth, and I'm 18, my dad also did Air Force as Military Police, but all he says is "DON'T DO FUCKING MILITARY POLICE IT'S ASS AND U GAURD PARKS AND PLANES ALL DAY AND GET NO FUCKING FREE TIME", he was deployed like 4+ times in Afghanistan and Iraq.
