I got really good results tbh but I didnt chew mastic, I just chewed regular gum ((that I put in the freezer sometimes)) for like 8 hours a day for 1 year straight and I thumb pulled consistently and really hard for 3-5 months. I was actually surprised that my ramus grew + jaw got a lot better. I just got some tmj problems that went away but I am not chewing currently because I am satisfied with the results I got. Chewing 100% works but I am not sure if thumbpulling helped, its a 50/50 but you dont lose anything by trying.

I got results at 17-18 even though I was done with puberty at 16. I just chewed all day for almost a year straight, during school, studying, at home, at the gym, it was crazy. Thumbpulling after 16-17 might be cope though
