Has anyone tried Cowashing

Do any of you do conditioner only hair washing as a way to improve the appearance and quality of hair. If so, do you have any advice for someone new to the practice. For example, what should the ratio of conditioner washing to shampoo washing be? Thanks every 1.

it depends on your hair type, but you should never co-wash only. even if you have very curly hair you still need to use shampoo at least monthly to get rid of all the dirt and grease.

straight hair: shampoo 3-6 times a week
wavy hair: shampoo 2-4 times a week
curly hair: shampoo 0-2 times a week

for example with wavy hair you can use shampoo on monday -> thursday-> sunday -> tueday -> friday etc. so basically 2 days in between.

you should use a conditioner almost every day with curly and wavy hair. conditioner doesn't wash your hair it only hydrates it. the more curly you hair is the more conditioner and the less shampoo you need to use.

you use shampoo to get rid of the dirt buildup in your hair, but shampoo also gets rid of the natural oils so you need to add them back using conditioner.
