Dont like sports cuz its weed and porn type entertainment. Hedonism with no meaning behind just getting fired up for something with no real value, just a distraction or a cope. Take NFL football for example. Watch ur teams basically give eachother brain damage for a few hours to fire up that war spirit inside u. 0 meaning. At least in anime, videogames, or movies or even something like youtube, there often a moral message or a perspective insight you can gain from the artist, but at hte same time theres slop videogames, slop anime, and slop movies, and slop youtube. But dont equivocate a story by an author to meaningless ball kicking

i dont watch sports, i js cant ever be entertained watching them,

i did boxing and football tho, and street basketball

was so fucking fun, i regret wasting my physical body and not using it for physical sports more growing up, one of my biggest regrets

when people talk about sports being a waste of time due to it being useless entertainment. it rlly is no diff from streams,movies,yt vids.
yeah sure u can say theres something useful abt those, but ur gonna forget like majority of media and rarely is it ever useful as they say it is, thats js cope imo

- people have a tribal instinct to root for a team and to see a different tribe lose
its the same thing every time, u dont need to watch 50 football games to understand that,
From other types of media, movies, books, even videos, each one is popular (or unpopular) for a reason, firstly, u can sort of take each story and see "okay, what does it mean" and sometimes, it taps into like a deeper human instinct you dont realize at first.

Often times most people don't even understand why they enjoy something, just that they enjoy it. If ur asking why "high iq" people dislike sports, its simple. Introspection. They can recognize the formula faster than most, and too a deeper degree. Thats literally all there is too it.
"Take simple pleasures in life" is based and dont let ur overthinking ruin everything for u is also based, but like dude basketball, football, soccer all ts is slop dude. Same thing over and over again, tap into tribal instict of fans, and extract money from their wallets so they can feel the rush of cheering on their team. Some movies are garbage made for money, take recent marvel movies, its popular because people like a feelgood type cliche story, to see the "good guys win" same thing over and over. If its made for money, often times its fucking shit. If its made because the creator just geniunely wanted to share something they felt, its usually not. Thats the basic principle.
