have gotten 2 teeth removed at age 17.

they were removed around 6 months ago. haven't noticed any changes in my facial bone structure. did I maybe get lucky or do will I probably get some side effects from this at a later time? the teeth removed were the canines btw.

you wont see any changes now but youll regret it as you get older, especially along with bone resorption, which people try to fix with filler/implants

yea, at 17 it wont make a difference since you dont have any age related bone resorption until your at least 25+ but when youre older you will really regret extractions

no you should have walked out of the othodontist/dentists office as soon as they recommended extractions and found a good orthodontist who is actually willing to help you by expanding your palete and not just making quick money off a tooth extraction

its not even exclusively a bp thing its just a scummy practice. i had a good orthodotnist who fixed my crowding when I was 9 with a palate expander and now my maxilla/zygos are visibly more projected

the only thing you can really do is not think abt it ig and focus on other things/get bone implants when youre older
