Most of the film shows various high school characters going about their so far normal day in school. We see some realistic characters like
- Jock Chad
- E-boy Chad with family problems
- Photography NT Chad
- Bulimic foids focusing on inane foid things
- Foid with body issues (granted she is legit sub3 so she is completely mentally healthy to hate herself)
Their day is turned upside down eventually when two incel ERs start shooting up the school. The film is fictional but based quite heavily on Columbine. Notably none of the scenes are gratuitous in their portrayal of violence (or indeed glamorous in the portrayal of HS life). Realistic depiction of a school shooting is one of the main goals of the film.
Camera work is also tastily done. This shot of the E-boy protagonist walking past the shooters on their way to shoot up the school is quite iconic.
