But in general beards seem to have gone out of style, 5-10 years ago women wouldn’t shut up about them but times have changed. I think they’ve learned to see through them by now. I look much better clean shaven so not complaining.

By see through it I mean they can tell if you’re using facial hair to cover up a shitty lower third. And it still matters if you’re recessed because covering it up won’t fix the breathing and bite problems that come with jaw recession and is why it registers to us as looking bad.

I remember when the James Harden meme went viral, he became the poster child for beard frauding. I think a lot of girls must’ve seen it because that was around when they started going out of style.

I know some guys still look good with them but they can’t really carry your appeal anymore and the facial hair meta for the past few years has been mustache with no beard, like girls wanna be able to see your jawline.

The best looking woman I saw between 2015 and somewhat recently was with this beard frauding normie guy who I could tell was covering up a high gonial angle and etc. But he was pulling it off in accordance with the overall meta look of the time, this was in 2018. But times have changed. Last summer I saw the best looking girl in the nearest major metro area that I’ve ever seen, she was with this 6’4” youthful looking Chadlite with good bones, mustache, no beard. Facial hair isn’t some permanent genetic thing women select for, it’s a style thing, styles change over time.
