I live by the beach and walk my dog down by the ocean often. I take him out on the pier where all the normies are. He’s a Brittany spaniel and cute as hell. Naturally all the young high school stacies love him. When a girl sees him she will light up with joy and smile. But once they see me they visibly recoil in disgust.

here’s what happens whenever I go out

> sitting on a chair w my dog on a leash in front of me
> group of foids sees my dog
> all go “omg so cute”
> start laughing and smiling
> run up to me
> I lift my head up
> they see me
> they all make a dissapointed look and walk way

I’ve thought about it before. My dogs have gotten more love from people than I have. They’ll get hugs and random people petting them whenever I take them out, but me? Nah.
