Depends. If you’re the social leader of a big friend group you have unlimited status among your peers. If you’re the butt who people forget to invite/the punching bag in the big friend group, then those aren’t your friends. If you’re not a major part of the big friend group, you’re a npc.

Big friend groups are also bound to fail due to smaller friend groups forming.

Big friend groups are temporary while small friend groups are eternal.
