I can pretty easily cope with not having a GF, with media and jerking off, etc. Not having one bothered me for a few years but I eventually got over it and I don't worry a lot about it. In fact (while this is mostly cope) not having one really does make some aspects of some life easier. Although, I would probably still prefer to have one.

Having no friends is so much more brutal. I remember how happy I was when I had friends. Especially when you have really close ones you can have deep conversations with or vent to. I lost them all when I switched to online school. I truly feel lonely without them-even more than I did when I was more worried about a GF. I have nobody to talk to or do things with. Maybe some will say your GF could be your friend, but consistently venting to her will probably turn her off, as sad as it is. And sometimes you simply don't have many common interests.

Maybe I am coping but idk.

What do you need to vent for?

I don't really need to that much. But it's nice to tell your friends some things going on you can't tell family

Even old high school friends simply don’t have the time or have moved on to other things.
