in what way? Where will morals get you? You aren’t gonna “change the world” there is no point. Why try so hard to portray yourself as honorable to people who are already worse than you?

Its not about changing the world. I have morals because of empathy, at least thats where i think morality comes from if a religion like Christianity isnt true, besides, i like people liking me like probably 90 percent of the people on here jfl

you just proved his point about morals. The only reason we want to appear like we have morals, is so that we get respect from others, not to be a "good" person. It sounds weird but part of being selfish can be acting empathetic, because the need for human approval is worth it

Exactly. I did it for a while thinking i was some “moral humble man” until i realised i’m a piece of shit anyway and it doesn’t matter since the only reason i’m doing it anyway is to appear like a good person. Just like everyone else.

I dont disagree acting on morals often have a want for approval but in different levels. morals is still really real and for certain people they really are mostly just good people
