If my mum is short yet her brother is tall did she simply not express the height genes or not get them?
Like could she have theoretically got the height genes too and not expressed them some how snd passed the tall gene to me?

Ngl it's complicated. But best way is to looks at your moms father, grandfather ect. That's a decent way to see if there is a tall gene for men on your moms side. But I aint an expert so quote me if im wrong

There is a tall gene id assume as my uncle (mums brother is 6’1) yet shes 5’0 shouldn’t she be like 5’7? Going solely off my uncles height

Well it's an evolutionary trait for women to typically stay smaller ofc so it is normal she is short. But I'm assuming her brother surpassed his height genetically. And your moms father is shorter than her brother. So my guess is the average height for your mother should be 5'4 round about just taking a guess. Hard to say, not knowing her fathers or mothers height

Best you can do is eat well and sleep well. In some cases people have said HGH has helped them but it's not guaranteed.

Yes but if they had identical diets growing up and no hgh how did he surpass her by 13 inches

evolutionary trait for men to be taller than women. Opposite for women. And there are also genetic mutations that could happen. Some people are just shorter or taller than their family for no reason.

Im 5’8 with a 5’0 mum and 5’8 or 9 dad theoretically I could’ve been way taller if my mum got the same genes

Dang that's tuff. Not that bad though if you live in america or sumthin. Could geomaxx to asia aswell

Both are possible
Like could she have theoretically got the height genes too and not expressed them some how snd passed the tall gene to me?
In that case it's likely she carried them but didn't express them, but when genetic recombination occured at your conception those genes would have been arranged in a way to express in your phenotype, especially if your dad happens to be tall or also carries not expressed height genes. It's not exactly Mendellian inheritance, but the basic principles apply

Look I'm 5'8 and my dad is 5'10, my brother 5'11 and my mom is 5'6. You got it good bro, meanwhile I got the manlet genes from my 4'11 paternal granny and my 5'8 maternal grandpa

My cousin has short parents but he grew to 6'3 because he somehow got his grandfathers height genes. His brother is short though. It's genetic recombination.

Yes maybe she did
