Height is a looks multiplier.
If you multiply 0 (deformed face) with a big number (tall), you still get 0.
If you multiply a high number (good-looking face) with a big number (tall), you get a big number (high SMV).
Some short guys manage to offset manletism with an attractive face. E.g. prime Tom Cruise.
