"Yeah I'm 5'11 barefoot but 6'1 with shoes" Nobody will percieve you as being taller than 5'11, MAYBE 6'. You should expect everyone to be between 1-2 inches taller when you're outside, obviously because of wearing shoes. This means that if you wear shoes that make you go from 5'9 to 6'1 then you're not actually frauding to 6'1, you're frauding to around 5'11.

No you're not 6'1. Everyone outside is already 2 inches taller than they are barefoot, you're going to already NEED to be adding 2 inches with shoes to not appear even shorter than you are normally.
