There is this tall Ukrainian guy who goes to my school and I'm pretty chill with him but that doesn't excuse what he said. He takes the same bus as me at the same time everyday and I've never had any issue with him, as far as I'm concerned he stays in his own lane and doesn't cause trouble. One day like a year ago me and him got off the bus and start walking towards the school, as we're walking out of fucking nowhere this guy looks me straight into my eyes and with a straight face said "Don't get angry when I ask you this but how are you European and short?" I mean wow. I'm not really focused on the fact that he said this out of nowhere and also that we don't have any beef, but I mean whether he didn't mean to be rude or offensive that had to be the most insensitive and out of touch sentence I've had come my way. I'm already self conscious being a manlet from a tall eastern European country and now my assumptions about whether my own race considers me human or not were confirmed right there and then. Being a manlet from a region where tall stature is the norm is nothing short from hell on Earth knowing your own kind sees you as inferior.

What a rude guy, instead of saying “I don’t mean any offense” he said “don’t get angry”?? Also why is he commenting on your height in the first place if he doesn’t know you??
Brutal nonetheless

Exactly, I'm not a sensitive guy at all and even believe that in today's society people are all soft and gay but what he said is just blatant disrespect.

DNR how short are u though

sigh... another one of these stories

I turned 16 2 weeks ago and am currently 5'7
ain't that bad bro, if you're 16 and 5,7 you'll likely grow. + its ok to be short to an extent not like you can 100% change that and yeah as a european seems a lil unusual, and im pakistani myself so we are short it seems unusual but still its fine (reminder 5,7 is the global avg) so u aint even short globally. i hope i grow asw im 5,10 nearly 5,11 at 15 i think i got time since i turned 15 a week ago
