Ive recently ordered ~$800 in pharmaceutical medicaiton which had been routine for the past 3 months.

Usually, the package is delivered straight to my door, but now the USPS website wants me to pick it up from the post office.

Is this being used as a Honeypot by Customs? Am I fucked?

Don't fucking pick it up. It's not worth the risk. Is there a specific time frame in which you need to pick it up? Maybe scout the area first? Pay someone to go in and get it for you? Where a mask?

It's pharmaceuticals used for psoriasis, not sure how illegal it is. Yeah I srsly can't go pick it up, but I don't know if maybe it was too big to deliver or something

I mean if you go to pick it up I guess you could still argue it’s given to you by a friend or something? Idk what it’s like in the US but in the UK which is probably similar if a package is seized they just tell you it’s seized And that’s the end of it, I can’t imagine they have the time or energy to bother incriminating you

I would say not to risk it. But I've had normal stuff that went through customs show up at the post office and I would be notified to do the same weird process of picking it up rather than having it delivered to my door. so the email itself doesn't mean anything in particular.

The thing is, the only way I know of this package is through the tracking number. They did not even leave a slip in my mailbox telling me the package needs to be picked up

I'd say 80% chance it's a Honeypot. Might have to risk it though, ngl. I need the meds
