In a couple of weeks I'll be having a LeFort I DJS.

While it's going to be covered by insurance due to sleep apnea, the doctor gave me some leeway to solve some aesthetic concerns.

Besides the obvious short chin, one of them is my bimaxillary protrusion:

This is the basic planning he gave me:

Yeah, I know it's a long way until even LTN, but I won't have a chance to hardmaxx like that in a while, so I want to make the best out of it and I have no idea of the ideal movements for my face. I'd appreciate any help regarding that, from opinions to morphs to ideal ratios.

Additionally, here are some relevant pics:

Thanks in advance

his planning looks good tbh a genio on top would satisfy you completely

Bonus: When he first showed me how the simulator worked, he did this quick preview. Maybe it's just me, but doesn't it look better than the actual planning?

He was more conservative on the actual planning as he's expecting my feedback, I guess.

I dont think you want to setback the maxilla at ans like that, would be extremly bad for nasal breathing and also aesthetics. And planning your own genio is kinda hard as a bad genio can look shit from diffrent angles. So dont just watch side. Overall you should allways plan bimax for front aswell

I'm not very good with those terms but, is it really a setback? Cause it's rotating CCW, so I'm pretty sure it's moving forward along with the jaw.

I agree about the front part. I did take a look at other angles at the doctor's office but this simulator sucks and it's really distorted on the front, so I ended up not bothering. I think I'll probably stick with his plan and hope for the best

(Sleep test probably) but what symptoms were you experiencing that made you go "Ah, I have sleep apnea!"

I've never particularly snorted, but I've always had trouble sleeping (too easy to wake up and barely making it more than 6 hours if everything goes right). I just took it as a fact of life until I was done with it last year.

Did a sleeping test and and MRI and behold, sleep apnea. It confirmed my actual rest during sleep time was suboptimal, and would get worse with age of untreated.

Your Maxilla looks better in the post op because of the CCW.
