Is there any legit way of widening my upper palate without paying $1000. Like a diy expansion? Or are there alternatives because I genuinely don't even know what to do. My sutures are still like kinda open.

If sutures are still open make sure you maintain ideal posture of your pelvis, spine and neck whilst also maintaining ideal tongue posture (mewing). Make sure you eat tough foods as well as they provide mechanical tension.

I have good posture, I see minor soft tissue change which is good. Posture obviously won't do as much of a change that I want. I do get tough foods half of my life and now in the past year I get them all the time.

I asked my ortho for expansion and they said no since I do not have a crossbite. I have a feeling my face is just downgrown and slightly narrow and not narrow enough to be a candidate for expansion. I am young anyway and I am sure that my sutures are malleable/open.

I was asking if anyone knew a diy method of expansion that obviously makes sense that is not like "thumbpulling," which does not work as bone apparently only likes to respond to low force and a long duration and fights back when it's high force very low-med duration. I may be wrong.

I am also wondering how I can widen my frame. I am assuming it will be fine because proportionally, my mother, and father (especially him), have wide clavicles compared to their body. I don't believe that genetics determine that and there's probably something in the background that people do not want to mention.

Currently at the moment while writing this, I am also trying to make chatgpt search this whole website for me to look for solutions which probably do not exist or they are hidden somewhere else that is not here.
