What do i do to get REM sleep, i never Dream and i need rem to produce test and shit

I wouldn't say "Bad" but logically I think its probably not good since you will probably distract yourself from sleep from lyrics or even if its just instrumentals, your mind would probably still be engaged when you probably don't want it to.

Noise is good though (Atleast for most people I think?)

So stuff like rain noises, white noise, etc is probably much better than music bc music is composed and stuff and different noises when constant noise is just the same thing and ur brain doesn't work on processing what its hearing.

Unless if you listen to Dababy where its the same flow 100 times JFL :lul:
You are probably in rem sleep you just don’t remember your dreams

Im sure better sleep quality contributes to having more REM but for me personally whenever I take Benadryl PMs I tend to have more dreams. Also I think supplements like alpha gpc could help with REM

Nah, my watch also tells the pases of sleep, every night i get 40m of rem sleep even if i sleep 10h ( the correct time for 10h should be like 2h not 40m)

Bro its just no matter what i do its always 90% light sleep, 7%rem, 3%deep
yeah thats not normal. Is there anything wrong with your sleeping environment


  • Do you sleep in a dark enough room?
  • Is there sudden noises in the night, or have you tried a constant noise such as a fan?
  • How hot is your room when you sleep?
  • Do you sleep consistently?
  • Do you destress before heading to bed?

I think its a normal darkness
Theres tv noises bc my parents sleep with it on and i can hear it in my room, ill try the fan tonigjt
Its pretty cold since its winter so i sleep with 2 blankets
Idk what tou mean with sleeping consistently, but probably not
And i do homework before bed, but even when i dont its the same

The watch is well placed, tonight ill try a bit looser

Like what ey88 said its important to have a sleep schedule meaning you should sleep around the same time each night.

If you have the time, do homework 30 mins earlier and have a dedicated time to prepare for sleep (Do calming things, Not Eating near sleep, not looking at blue light before bed)
