Frank Yang is a schizo but whatever. Yes IQ is important. Getting a job that uses lot of math and science will probably make sure that you have enough mental and cognitive capacity to think rationally and achieve your goals, also helps with status and helping you prevent aging (since you will be smart enough to avoid short term gratification from alcohol, drugs, junk food)
