The instruction to the forces in the north: prepare for a surprise - like in the south
The Chief of Staff threatened Hezbollah: "If they make the mistake and attack - we will destroy them

After the series of incidents on the Lebanese border, the IDF refined the directive to the forces in the area. In the evening news in Khan 11 it was announced this evening (Tuesday) that according to the directive, the working assumption is that no advance information will be received for the enemy's events to materialize, and one must prepare for the possibility of surprise.

Earlier today, Chief of the General Staff Hertzi Halevi met with brigade commanders in the Northern Command together with the Northern Command Commander, and the Galilee formation commander. In this meeting he threatened Hezbollah: "If they make the mistake and attack - destruction, destruction, destruction." Halevi added that the IDF operates according to the values in this war, but it does adapt them to the cruelty and madness that "the enemy brought into the campaign".

Earlier, the IDF attacked Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. Before that, an anti-tank missile was launched from Lebanese territory towards Israel, this is the third time. The IDF spokesman informed that the missile was fired at the settlement of Zerait on the Lebanese border, and that the IDF responded with artillery fire at the source of the fire.

Hours before, two more missiles were launched, one of them towards Metula, for which Hezbollah took responsibility. Hezbollah also announced that four operatives of the organization were killed during the day. The IDF also informed that it had intercepted an unmanned aerial vehicle approaching Israel from Lebanon.

In addition, another anti-tank missile was launched at an IDF post near Margaliot and small arms fire was fired at several points on the border fence. The IDF responded with heavy artillery fire. In the morning, two people were slightly wounded and one moderately wounded by anti-tank fire from Lebanon towards Metula, which was declared a closed military area. Hezbollah took responsibility for the shooting and the IDF responded by attacking with tanks the area from which the launch was carried out.

About two hours before, the IDF killed four terrorists who were spotted approaching the Lebanese border and planting an explosive device. Following the events, the head of the Matula Council David Azoulai called on everyone who had not yet left the city to leave immediately and many roads in the Upper Galilee were blocked.

Yesterday, six anti-tank missiles were fired at Israel, and yesterday nine launches were detected, five of which were intercepted. On Sunday, five anti-tank missiles were fired at Israeli territory, one of which was fired at civilians in Shatula. A 40-year-old man was murdered and three others were injured. On Saturday afternoon, about 30 mortar bombs were fired at the Har Dov area. Also, a terrorist squad was eliminated after trying to infiltrate the Mount Dov area.

None of the Arabs want to help them either. The one time Jordan helped them they assassinated their pm and tried to assassinate their king. Egypt has build a wall in that border that extends deep into the ground so that they don't tunnel jfl

Absolute cope. They got humiliated twice by Hezbollah. They're shitting themselves so much they had to bring US in.

Israel can militarily defeat Hamas, but not Hezbollah in Lebanon. After all the kicked them out of south Lebanon in first place.

Sunni Arabs are a disgrace and love sucking Israeli cock.

It's a shame I side with Shia dogs on this issue. Iran - Israel have yet to go to war. Would be juicy but no doubt Israel will shit themselves and bring in the yankees.

The US basically sent 2 nukes next to Lebanon. Israel checkmated the Muslim world once again, they can't really move without getting destroyed. What are they gonna do? attack from Syria? Iraq? Lebanon? perfect excuse for Israel to destroy Iran's nuclear program and open a regional war with the US. Israel can't totally lose either way, it's either goes smoothly or they get the juicy opportunity to call the US against Iran and destroy their nuclear program and end the proxies.

Iran will never give up its nuclear program because it is a theocratic dictatorship where the leadership would rather launch missiles then ever be ousted from power, the people of iran literally have no power and dont call any of the shots.

What happened after Israel occupied south Lebanon? Hezbollah emerged and kicked them out.

Btw I don't like them. They've committed atrocities in Syria and helped PMU in Iraq. Just stating facts.

What did the US do in Syria? Fuck all. All the money and weapons did fuck all. Assad the dog is master strategist ngl.

They invaded Iraq and Afghanistan. How's that go?

Israel can try and goad the US into whatever it likes. They're not guaranteed to do shit, and as above experiences have proven only dig their own graves and go home humiliated. Superior military firepower means jack shit LONG TERM. Yes they'll be victorious and would easily pwn Iran if they invaded just like they did with Saddam. They will claim they've won, when it's only the begging of their end because literally no one likes this Jew-yankee alliance in the middle east. This picture is hilarious

Yes Israel is gonna get gangbanged by Iran proxies without taking the opportunity to attack Iran's nuclear program and checkmate them with the US. If Iran doesn't want to give up power, they wouldn't cause a regional war. My guess is that Iran wouldn't fuck with israel like that, they know the Jews are horny to attack their program. Also the US pretty much checkmated them with the carriers and it's basically suicide. If only Hezbollah would join (and most likely get destroyed this time) without Iran intervention, then I can see a scenario where Iran wouldn't get involved directly.

Anyway, don't listen to @SecularIslamist jack jackshit like I've told you

The only 2 legir reason for the withdrawal was fear of embargo and the avoid of further military hitting.

In the political field, many governments in the Western world condemned the entry of the IDF into Beirut and the presence of the Israeli army in Lebanon, and this damaged Israel's political position, which was on the trend of improvement after the peace agreement with Egypt. The momentum of peace with Egypt was damaged and relations were defined as "cold peace".

The long and difficult stay in Lebanon exposed the IDF's vulnerable side to severe guerrilla conflicts with Hezbollah members who became stronger and professionalized and called the "Lebanese mud". Conflicts to which the IDF had difficulty giving an adequate response claimed many victims.

Overall, i dont see iran joining this war unless the US and Israel either really want to start a devestating regional war that will see israel itself at the very least, pretty decimated and potentially boil over into a ww3 scenario.

Israel is going to try their best to simply limit this to hamas and gaza, and if hezbollah wants to open up a new front on the north, then israel will try to deal with that will US military support, its going to be a very blood war for both sides, iran is basically going to be the US of the east where it will keep funneling weapons and supplies to its proxy hezbollah, the same way US did for Ukraine. Southern lebanon and maybe Northern israel has the potential to be completely ruined cause thats where the fighting will take place.

As someone coming from a sunni background, this last decade or so has only proven that sunni muslim majority countries are either completely destablized war torn shitholes, poor high corrupted countries, or rich countries that are economically dependent on the west and have completely sold out to the west.
