Hi po sa lahat!
I’m a 22-year-old art student from France, originally from Madagascar (yep—not the movie
). I’m a photographer and videographer at the same time, and I’m not gonna lie, i fall in love with Filipino culture. Everything from the language, to the food, to the warmth of the people.
I’m currently learning Tagalog too (and I’m really enjoying it, like, talaga), and the more I dive into it, the more I feel drawn to the Philippines.
I’m seriously considering moving to the Philippines one day—maybe as a foreign student, or even just to stay for a while and create a documentary about Filipino culture, daily life, and the beauty of the islands and its people.
I would love to ask you guys :
• Is it common to have foreign students in the Philippines?
• What should I know or prepare if I’m interested in moving there?
• Any advice for someone like me—curious, creative, and eager to learn and immerse myself in your culture?
• Any areas or universities you’d recommend for someone interested in arts, film, or cultural studies?
