No, it isn't bad for acne, just make sure it's disinfected. Derma pen > both

lol no roller mogs because it quickly rolls hundreds of needles vs pen/stamp which ha slike 10 needles xD

Low iq reply
tldr dermaroller is safe and efficient, derma pen is dangerous and slow. If you use derma pen you are low iq. it is only useful for scalp

makes no sense buddy. Derma pen is automatic, while the derma pen is manual. You can also adjust the needle length on a derma pen and shit has way faster results than a derma roller. Tried both, derma pen way better.

The Concise Guide To Dermal NeedlingThird Medical Edition - Revised and ExpandedBy Dr. Lance Setterfield M.D.
Rollers vs. Electronic Devices
Studies Done with Rollers Cannot Necessarily be Extrapolated to Pens

In the early days of electronic microneedling devices. there was a massive marketing drive touting superiority when compared to rollers. Timing in the market place is often critical. and. while there was an acute desire to create a distinctive difference in order to win market share. it was not expedient to do studies as the basis for this distinction. Pen companies did not have the luxury of time. It was easier to "borrow" the scientific studies performed with rollers and extrapolate the evidence involving the wound heal ingcascade to pens. At first glance this may seem legitimate. After all. how does the skin know whether a needle puncture was created by a roller or an electronic device? The truth is. not all things are equal when it comes to needling! One pen company came up with a theory that needles on a roller cut the skin due to the angle of the needles on a circulardrum. whereas needles from a pen. (they surmised). enter perpendicular and therefore

cause less trauma (superior outcome). However, the practitioner has no way of knowing whether the needle is in or out of the skin as the device is moved across the surface ,so similar cuts and scratches from the jigsaw action of an electronic needling device can result as well. So, are there any differences between the two? Newton's Third Law gives us some clues. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. In other words, the wound healing (inflammatory) response is directly proportionate to the number of holes per square centimetre. Due to the speed of the motor of an electronic device, it is easy to create far more punctures in less time when compared to a roller, and the wound healing cascade is amplified. This amplification is not easy to measure clinically based on duration of treatment and erythema as the end point. Looks can bevery deceiving. Thus, the inflammatory component is often greater in electronic devices, hence a higher incidence of complications which were not evident with rollers. These include subtle scarring (which appear as enlarged pores or worsening ofwrinkles) and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH)
Derma pens are extremely inaccurate in the amount of punctures per location/time, increasing chance of scaring. I would not trust derma pens on high speed with untrained/unknowledge users.

Dermastamp over dermaroller. Dermaroller continually pushes the needles in and out of your skin at a diagonal angle vs a dermastamp which takes the needles straight in and out.

Dermastamp only after washing your face at night. Clean the stamp with 70% isopropyl alcohol before using it. After you use it soak the stamp in a cup of the alcohol for like 10-15 minutes. After you dermastamp, wash your face with water again and moisturize. Never had any issues with acne/infections from dermastamping
