First mid-high iq post may be shit at explaining but I'll try my best to make an understanding of my point.
You may have seen titkoks by accounts like @posture.is.power and a few others promoting this posture and editing people into having the correct posture and making them taller. (Generally 1-2 inches)
Most people are taught posture like the one on the left which is fucking horrible
“Pull your shoulders back, push your chest out, stand straight.”
This will give you downward growth and a crooked nose. It sounds correct but it actually creates problems. When you push your chest out, your ribs flare and your lower back arches. That throws your body out of balance. To stay upright, you have to tense your back, neck, and shoulders all the time.
That’s why this posture feels hard to hold. You’re not standing tall, you’re holding tension.
Because your shoulders are pulled back unnaturally, your neck tightens and your head slowly drifts forward. So even though you look “upright” at first, you end up with forward head posture anyway.
Breathing also gets worse. When your chest is stuck up and tight, you can’t breathe deeply. Your breaths become shallow, your shoulders lift, and your body stays in a stressed state.
So this posture causes:
Big loss of actual height
Downward growth
Neck and shoulder tightness
Lower back arch and discomfort
Shallow breathing
A posture you can’t maintain naturally
It looks correct, but it’s not stable.
Good posture should feel calm and easy.
If it feels tense, tiring, or like you have to “hold it,” it’s the wrong posture.
Guide:
*YOU WİLL GAİN 1-2 İNCHES IF DONE CORRECTLY*
When you breathe slowly through your nose and let your belly expand, it actually helps the connective tissue in your body, called fascia, stay loose and flexible. That tissue wraps around your muscles, spine, and even your neck and jaw, so when it’s relaxed, your shoulders, back, and chest can sit naturally, and your posture just fixes itself without you forcing it. Over time, it can even help your face and jaw look more balanced because everything is aligned better.
HOW TO DO İT STEP BY STEP
Firstly I'd like to mention 'posture is power' charges 50 dollars for a zoom call to teach you what I'm about to tell you right now. You're welcome
1.Stand or sit normally. Feet flat, butt back in the chair. Don’t try to “force” anything.
2.Breathe through your nose. Let your belly move out when you inhale. Whatever you do don’t lift your shoulders or push your chest.
3.Grow tall. Imagine a string pulling the top of your head up. Shoulders drop, chin slightly down, jaw relaxed.
4.Check it. If you can breathe easily and it feels relaxed, you’re doing it right.
IMPORTANT: İt's mostly about breathing please only breath through your nose at all times and make sure your belly gets filled with air and not your chest.Your stomach has to inflate not your chest. BELLY
CHEST
So always try to keep your chest relaxed whatever you're doing and make sure you have good tounge posture for best results.
Basically, you want to look tall and confident without tensing up. It shouldn’t feel hard or like you’re forcing yourself, that’s the old posture that’s wrong. With time you will get forward growth in your face, maxilla and jaw if you're not done developing. You should gain height but it depends on how bad your posture before was
That's basically it, breath through your nose while mewing for best results and make sure your belly is filling with air while chest/ribs aren't moving or flaring at all. That's the most important part so if you understand that you will get it right eventually. Look at yourself in the mirror to see if you're doing it and compare to see know if you're doing anything wrong.
