All are based off of memorization. You could argue excelling in math is high iq, but if the basics arent memorized, even the smartest will fail.

Math & Physics only if it's intuitive, studying takes away from being "high iq." You could excel at all subjects if you put in the time.

Barely passed with a C

Math is always a flex too but teaching is difficult or easy based on teacher

theres serveral categories of iq, you can argue each is important but the most important ones comes down to classes math, cs, science, literacy

people fraud tf out of it in college nowadays, oversaturated field filled with many uni students who can barely code/havent done any CP at all, slight incremental shift though as more people find out new grads arent being hired without valid project/technical experience

Yeah ig but I notice more people starting to build projects now as a result of current events
SWE youtubers back in 2020-23 used to hype up cs far too much saying you could land jobs with ease
Although one of the biggest problems cited with employment right now is the scarcity of available junior dev roles thousands of people apply to positions eith linkedin

is it possible to get "experience" without actually getting those hard-to-get junior positions? like i was thinking strong projects, startup, internship or just really advanced at programming can just land a job higher up the chain?

yeah definitely thats what a lot of sucessful young startup founders do, but they tend to be smart already and have landed landed junior dev positions
Keep in mind its not just jew firms that recruit (faang/mango) local companies do so as well
Its more probable to land a job than to create a successful startup, CEO's arent all engineer
If you can land a senior dev role you can definitely land junior ones

Industrial Design/ Product Design can be considered high IQ for high school coz it needs you to know how to make shit while maintaining materials and cost of manufacturing
+ Stem matter only when you write academic papers
