as survival becomes less important, looks becomes more attractive
many reasons as to why ogres are (certainly nowadays) less attractive. firstly they lack facial symmetry usually and dont have good looks. secondly, if a less ugly, more facially attractive man who doesnt look like an ogre survives to talk to girls, it only makes sense that the female picks the good looker, breeding more good lookers
yes and no. the good parts of ogre remained attractive ( strength, wide jaw, tall, etc) but all the bad parts became unattractive of course (asymmetrical face etc)
