"Minoxidil may suppress androgen receptor-related functions

Minox may reduce 5-AR a little bit but idegaf about that. My DHT, T, etc are all healthy and high. Yet I have no androgen actions such as sweating, collagen production, armpit smell, etc. because the androgen receptors are shut off. "

" We conclude that there is no antiandrogenic component to the mechanism of action of topical minoxidil in the hamster flank organ, and thus there is probably no antiandrogenic role in man either. "

Also the studies are in vitro therefore not the real deal

@Lifeisgood72 response

Not once in the video did he mention “androgen receptor” which is the true reason behind PFS. Not to mention he completely glanced over this study which shows that minoxidil completely inhibits the androgen receptor from functioning.

wdym you have no "androgen actions"? you would be more female than a woman if you had 0 androgen activity in your body lol.
also, since when is sweating an androgen mediated activity

" @Lifeisgood72 response " not mine i said it
so which is right in ur opinion?

I think that if it had strong anti-androgenic properties, they would have been reported already

I’m about sick and fucking tired of having to reply to one of these stupid threads EVERY DAY.

Ask yourself this, do you REALLY think you’re going to be able to regrow hair on your head without some sort of anti androgenic component? Really? It astonishes me that so many people drop the benefit of the doubt in the presence of potential hair regrowth.

There is no argument to be made. We have 99% of the research we need on Minoxidil. It does not reduce T or DHT, but it destroys the androgen receptor, in which the scalp where Min is applied has lots of, preventing the body from using T or DHT in the first place.

“cell growth was suppressed to a level comparable to that observed in the absence of DHT. AR-dependent cells treated with 1 Mm of Minoxidil behaved as if testosterone and DHT were not present. These data provide the first demonstration that minoxidil can suppress AR-related functions, including AR transcription and AR-related cell growth.”

yeah, if you hit the cascade further downstream. Samumed did it by modulating WNt/beta-catenin pathway

then yes

I need it for eyebrows bro
I've been using it for beard for like 5 months and have zero antiandrogenic effects nor skin problems.
I wouldn't sweat it with the tiny amount you need for eyebrows even if it can have those side effects.
