I’m great at socializing, super NT, but I’m in a liberal arts degree program and I’m pretty much a year away from graduation. I’m super burnt out with my major and honestly can’t see myself doing this long term, so am I completely fucked or is there anything I can do? I don’t wanna do another course in uni, that’s a lot of money and time wasted, so I was hoping if there was a skill I could learn while I’m still in uni that could make me good money.

Maybe web dev? Idk what’s popular nowadays

Do you think I need a degree in CS or can I just get certifications and get hired that way?

I’m thinking of doing law after I graduate too so that’s definitely an option

Idk but honestly I would probably say degree since it's way more popular now so companies are going to be more strict

Do it, probably the best degree outside of stem tbh
By the time he graduates AI will be able to do most whitecollar job degrees that need an IQ of less or equal than 130 and that's being quite conservative to be honest, he should get into blue collar, scamming or selling his anus instead

The doors are closing quickly, soon AI research will be automated, I am getting training into electronics technician because by the time I get the skills needed to work in one of the big labs, jobs in that field will be long gone

Yes, the age of "careers" is over, get training in something that you can learn in max 6 months, work hard and invest as much as you can in crypto, tech stock, Meals Ready-to-Eat (MREs) and land if you have the money

The middle class will not exist by 2030

What makes you think the training you're getting will make you immune to AI replacement

Never said that, it won't make me immune, nothing will, it just will give me more time than people studying white collar job professions

social media marketing, attention is the new currency

over for you.

oversaturated and getting more obsolete by the hour
Why is it getting obsolete. Still a lot of demand but saturation is crazy. Anyone half decent will make a living though

High IQ take. You need to be dynamic in the era of AI. Opportunities will come and go and you need to seize them while they last. Don't rely on building a career or depending on a single skillset.
