This is from the US where law and Med school require a very good previous undergraduate ( often bio(chemistry) ). In reality Medicine would be the highest by a large margin, followed distantly by Law.

All of the best paid professions are medical https://money.usnews.com/careers/best-jobs/rankings/best-paying-jobs

In no profession is the percentage of millionaires as high as in medicine.

Financial professionals, lawyers and engineers, all of which can become managers/executives, also have a high potential.

But this is just earnings, correct? If so everyone at the top of that list had to spend north of 500k to get there in the first place. That along with insane interest on student loans, the positives seem greatly diminished.

Becoming a doctor requires a long asf program of ~10 years of study, so that's 4-6 years of potential income gone + additional student expenditure of atleast 200k. Similiar situation for law school.

Best job sector for easy money is engineering or finance, esp software engineering and investment banking, where salaries at the higher level companies in major locations are especially lucrative.

e.g. A new-graduate investment banker in NYC will make 170k - 190k total income on average.
A new-grad software engineer in the Bay Area/ Seattle will make 130k-200k total income on average.
what degree do I get?
.
You only need 4 years of study (bachelors degree) for the engineering and finance sectors. Obviously a 2 years masters will help but it is not required as it is in medical or law.

Just be dead to be top 1% theory

Wow guys, look how rich you can get from taking advantage of the United States's lack of civilization and integrity.

You might as well lump medicine in with finance, because it's the same thing (in the United States). All the medical sector does in this country is charge people (or the government) hundreds of thousands of dollars to put bandaids on. Charge 'em $300 for insulin since they couldn't afford insurance.

Yes you do need to be adept at math and logical reasoning. But I reckon that your IQ is by default atleast a bit above average by merit of being on this forum, 110-115 IQ is good for SWE. Obviously you won't get hired at FAANG with ease, but you can still get a good deal out of SWE. btw pretty much every professional career I mentioned requires abv avg intelligence, yet all of us here pretty much fit the quota for them by default.

True, but I’d say there’s easier ways to become a millionaire than study for nearly 20 years and then continue to work for another couple of decades with hardly any sleep.

Time and responsability are currencies as important as money and medical professionals are bankrupt with them.
