They are being serious. This is the minimum you need to be able to provide for them to consider you on there, even if you are GL.

I looked at a girl friend of mine's Hinge profile one time & went to her spotlight section to gauge my competition (aka the top male profiles in the area)

Funny enough I mogged plenty of these guys or was at least their looksmatch. The only difference?
