But i don’t think ascensions in trimax depend on the surgeon, it just depends on the whole plan like movements etc and what the surgeon does which you can advice him to do aswell

But i don’t think ascensions in trimax depend on the surgeon, it just depends on the whole plan like movements etc and what the surgeon does which you can advice him to do aswell

Both you and surgeon need to have good asthethic understanding.
Most people on this forum dont.
If you do bimax you should always also do lipp augmentation, a rhinoplasty and often even a paranasal implant.

My bimax isn’t going to be that difficult,

My jaws don’t need too much advancement as im not recessed rlly im just vertically short in maxilla, which is gonna be fixed with maxilla downgrafting and cw rotation

sliding genio +3mm forward +4mm vertical

Safi was mentored by Sailer and seems to also do the extremely large movements in some of his cases, so he could be an option for some if they were brave. I've seen 2 people here who were Safi patients, one got a very solid ascension and showed pics, the other claimed to have gotten botched pretty damn bad and also showed evidence.

He puts some kind of special cartilage on the cheekbones and jaw angles. It's a technique he invented but I've never seen anyone else offer it

No, these guys had large off the shelf medpor jaw inplants, the same model Yaremchuk used to use. I'm 100% sure

Very possible. I'm not familiar with these cases at all. I just know he offered a special kind of cartilage on the jaw angles to add volume back in the day, so assumed that's what he did here. First I've heard of him using jaw implants btw, interesting to know.
